Crimewatch hits the streets of Britain to appeal for help with unsolved cases.
What should have been the end of an investigation into a drugs ring suddenly became the start of a new one – one of the largest Gwent Police had ever conducted.
According to DC Michael Coles, the officer leading the case, “We recovered large quantities of cocaine, multiple kilograms of cutting agents that were used to mix with cocaine. Plus, two hydraulic presses, food blenders that were covered in cocaine residue, mixing bowls, chemical face masks, everything you can imagine high level drug dealers would need.”
Detectives were thrilled with the discovery,"We've managed to forensically link possibly one of the biggest drug dealers in Wales to this location at that time."
