Chaddock Lane in Boothstown has been blocked off by emergency services
Police have swarmed a busy road this afternoon after a crash in Salford. Emergency services are on the scene on Chaddock Lane in Boothstown, close to the East Lancashire Road.
There are unconfirmed reports of an air ambulance also reportedly at the scene. The road has been blocked off between the junctions of Ridgemont Drive and Victoria Street. Congestion is also understood to be building onto nearby Ellenbrook Road and Mosley Common Road, with investigations ongoing at the scene and drivers being diverted.Further details about the incident are yet to be confirmed but Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
