A woman from Harrison, Tennessee faces attempted second degree murder charges after police say repeatedly she hit her boyfriend over the head with a hammer.An affidavit we obtained says the incident happened in the early morning hours at a home on Hooper Hollow Road.later told authorities in the hospital that he and Ward had been having a disagreement, because she had wanted to go camping on her birthday that week. She was also upset because she did not have a phone, he said.
The report says Ward then started complaining about a phone, and then "began to strike his phone with a hammer. At one point, the report says the victim asked Ward, "Are you trying to kill me?" But the report says the victim did not remember how she answered. The victim then went to his son's house, and his son rushed him to the hospital with several wounds, including a large one on his face.
