The victim remains in critical condition
Northamptonshire Police are treating an incident where a man was shot in the head as an attempted murder and say they are doing everything they can to track down the culprits.
Chief Inspector Nathan Murray said: "Our major incident team are certainly investigating the cause of the incident and are carrying out all lines of inquiry at this stage. I just want to provide some reassurance that we believe this to be an isolated incident. "If people do feel frightened or in fear in any way, they can come forward and speak to local neighbourhood officers who can provide them that reassurance ad support that they may need.
