The car park was cordoned off by Nottinghamshire Police on Sunday
Nottinghamshire Police have provided an investigation update after a man was found unconscious in a Tesco car park. The emergency services were called to Tesco Extra in Station Road, Beeston shortly before 8am on Sunday, October 22.
Police cordoned off the car park where a man had been found unconscious. He was taken to Queen's Medical Centre by an ambulance. In an update issued on Monday, a police spokesperson said a thorough investigation had been carried out, which found no sign of suspicious circumstances."We carried out a thorough investigation at the car park and there is nothing suspicious at this moment in time," they said. Shoppers in Beeston expressed their shock at the police cordon at the supermarket on Sunday.
Nick Beeston, who is in his 50s said: “There’s police all down there. I just found out about it. It’s usually quite quiet on a Sunday morning in Beeston. I’m surprised, I suppose I’m not totally shocked until I found out what happened."
