Shoppers in Beeston expressed their shock at the police cordon at the supermarket on Sunday.

Nick Beeston, who is in his 50s said: “There’s police all down there. I just found out about it. It’s usually quite quiet on a Sunday morning in Beeston. I’m surprised, I suppose I’m not totally shocked until I found out what happened."
