A man was arrested and a knife was seized by officers in Oldham
Police have issued a statement after a man was found with a huge 'hunting knife' in Oldham and arrested as children were leaving school nearby.
Photos taken from the scene show a number of officers in attendance, with one recovering what appears to be a large knife. A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 3pm today , officers were called to reports of a man refusing to leave a shop on Huddersfield Road in Oldham. Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and a knife was seized.
