A man has been arrested
A woman mown down by a car in the Crossgates area of Leeds remains in hospital while a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
West Yorkshire Police received multiple calls for help on Saturday, December 7 after a Toyota RAV4 was driven at a crowd in the car park of the Cock Beck pub in Pendas Way, Leeds. A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital with significant injuries after being hit by the car at around 11.55pm. A short time later at 12.17am, officers were called to the the junction of Selby Road and York Road after the same RAV4 crashed with a Toyota Prius.
The driver of the RAV4 suffered serious injuries but not life threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to hospital. He was then arrested on suspicion of attempt murder, driving while disqualified and possession of Class B drugs.
