Damian was last seen leaving an Aldi supermarket two days before his body was found
Damian Jackson was found dead in his flat on Regent Street in Lancaster on July 25 last year. The 50-year-old had suffered multiple injuries.
Damian was last seen leaving the Aldi supermarket on Aldcliffe Road at 10:18am on Sunday July 23 - two days before his body was found. Detectives launched a murder investigation and tried to piece together information about his life.It is understood he lived alone at the flat, which was examined by crime scene investigators.
“Damian’s friends from across Lancaster have already paid their own special tributes which mean so much to us. He was generous and kind. He didn’t have a bad bone in his body. He wouldn’t harm a fly.”Today , Detective Chief Inspector Jane Webb of Lancashire Police’s Force Major Incident Team, said: “Since Damian’s death we have carried out extensive enquiries and the investigation continues to provide the answers for his family.
