'Russell knows we want to speak to him and we would invite him to hand himself in'
Officers in Lancashire are leading the search for Jordon Russell following the incident in Bolton Road, Darwen, on Monday . Police said the section 18 wounding involved a man being assaulted 'with a weapon'.
Russell, 24, from Blackburn, is now wanted by police and is described as being 5ft 8ins all with short light brown hair. Police said "Russell knows we want to speak to him" and is urging him to hand himself in.In a statement, Lancashire Police said: "Have you seen 24-year-old Jordon Russell from Blackburn who we want to speak to about an attempted Section 18 Wounding? It happened in Bolton Rd, Darwen, on September 2 and involved a man being assaulted with a weapon.
"Russell is 5ft 8 and has short light brown hair. Russell knows we want to speak to him and we would invite him to hand himself in. "Anyone with information on Russell’s whereabouts is asked to email [email protected] or call 01254 353553. For immediate sightings call 999. Quote log 955 of 2nd September 2024."
