Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips is live from 8.30am, and we'll be talking to Health Secretary Wes Streeting following a shocking report into children's health.
First up on the show is Health Secretary Wes Streeting, who is facing questions on Labour's planned cuts to the winter fuel allowance for pensioners. MPs are due to vote on the proposal, but Mr Streeting refuses to say whether the whip will be withdrawn for Labour politicians who don't back it.He says that is a matter for the PM and the chief whip.
The health secretary insists it is a 'significant amount of money' the government can't 'carry on splurging'. Trevor says: 'You make it sound like if you don't fix it, economy is going to crash.' But Mr Streeting says the government is 'taking tough decisions to fix and stabilise' the economy, again insisting the previous government has left it in a state.
