Any voter who is in line at 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
In Cleveland, voters are deciding on Issue 38, which would set aside 2% of the city’s budget for participatory budgeting.Since March, Ohio has required all voters to show a valid photo ID in order to cast an in-person ballot. In an August special election, voters soundly rejected a proposal that would have made the current abortion-rights amendment more difficult to pass by requiring it to get 60% support to be approved, rather than the current 50% plus-one vote.
