Pop star Max George has spoken about his terrifying experience when he feared he was going to die after being rushed to hospital for a heart condition. Max, 36, was staying at his mum's house after returning from a tour of the US when he woke up one morning feeling lethargic and unwell. His mum, Babs, noticed he was turning blue and called an ambulance. At hospital, doctors discovered Max's heart rate was dangerously low and he needed urgent surgery.
He was so ill that he even drafted a will on his phone, fearing he might not survive. Max underwent a three-hour surgery to have a pacemaker fitted and was finally able to go home on December 23rd.
