The American fried chicken fast-food chain has confirmed its opening date
With the closest Popeyes currently in Barnsley, the announcement officially marks Popeyes’ first foray into Leeds. It will open the delivery kitchen on Wortley Moor Road.
"After many requests for a Popeyes UK in Leeds, we are confident that our new delivery kitchen will be just as popular. This is just the beginning for us in the region, and we’re looking forward announcing further plans of upcoming openings in Leeds very soon." Chicken fans can be in with a chance of winning the prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a year if they order from the delivery kitchen on opening day. Orange tickets will be placed in the bags of 3 lucky customers - one from each of Popeyes website, Uber Eats and Just Eat, so customers are advised to get ordering on opening day.
