Matthew O'Haren | Special to PennLiveDarius Rucker has been in the news this week as he has done the media rounds around the release of his memoir, “Life is Too Short,” and there has been a lot to unpack.
But times have changed, and while Rucker spent the better part of the past 15 years as a solo country artist, he has reunited with his Hootie bandmates before and they are doing so again with a big tour this summer. “Back in the day, it was four of us on the bus trying to see who could out-party the other one,” Rucker said. “Now it’s like, everybody’s got their own bus with their family on the road. It’s a totally different animal now.
