Mr Basrai’s World Cuisines offers food for every palate, from Chinese and Italian, to classic carveries and steak
An all-you-can-eat restaurant in Blackpool has been slapped with a zero star food hygiene rating. The latest inspection of Mr Basrai’s World Cuisines deemed the eatery to require urgent improvement.
Inspectors from Blackpool Council visited the restaurant on March 22 of this year and looked at aspects of the restaurant, such as hygienic food handling and cleanliness, the condition of the facilities and safe food management.The Food Hygiene rating scheme gives businesses a rating from 5 to 0 which is displayed at their premises and online so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
Major improvement was also deemed necessary with regards it the hygienic handling of food, including how food is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored. was also found to need major improvement. "We are a landmark business in Blackpool and have many employees. We are always involved with charities by giving free meals. We have already asked for revisit the premises, hope they will come soon."
