A popular city centre restaurant has terminated a controversial policy which saw "fines" deducted from staff tips.

An investigation by the restaurant confirmed that three £5 fines were issued under this policy. The funds have now been returned, and employees have been fully reimbursed. "To strengthen communication and transparency, we are implementing a feedback system with elected employee representatives to support ongoing, open dialogue.
