DS Swain opens up about her family life Coronation Street viewers have come to know DS Lisa Swain as the no-nonsense detective in charge of Lauren Bolton’s murder case, though we are soon set to see another side of her as she opens up to a Corrie legend. DS Swain’s investigation has seen her spend a lot of time with Carla Connor recently, especially after Roy Cropper’s arrest.
Swain reveals that her partner has died In upcoming scenes, Carla is defensive when Swain asks why she’s fallen out with Roy, and is quick to close the conversation down. However, that isn’t the end of their interaction, as Carla soon overhears Swain arguing on the phone with her daughter, Betsy. Sensing Swain’s stress, Carla offers a listening ear, as the detective finally opens up about her family life.
