The popular G41 Bar in Shawlands will close its doors for the last time on Sunday, August 4 with the team saying they have made the decision 'with a heavy heart'.
G41 Bar in Shawlands will close its doors for the last time on Sunday, August 4. The Kilmarnock Road business took to social media to announce the decision.
The team said they were shutting down "with a heavy heart" and thanked all customers who supported the bar through the years.READ MORE: Sabrina Carpenter Glasgow fans fume over 'absolutely outrageous' £350 ticket prices However, owners Lisa and Jamie did hint at other things to come, telling customers "it's not goodbye, it's see you soon."
Sharing the statement online, they said: "It’s with a heavy heart we have to let you know G41 bar will be closing its doors for the last time on Sunday 4th August….. "We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us, customers and especially our staff, we are forever grateful….we will still be here until the 4th, so pop in and see us and let’s make the remaining time a farewell to remember!!"Lots of love, Lisa & Jamie.
