Flying Ducks Vintage has been a part of Glasgow's Hillhead area for 11 years. Alongside selling vintage items, the venue - formerly known as the Cup & Saucer - also served drinks and sweet-treats.
A store that sells antiques dating back to the 40s and 50s, combined with a vintage tea room, has announced that it will be closing after more than a decade in business.
The business was located inside De Courcy's Arcade in Cresswell Lane. Businessowner Samantha took to social media to confirm that she will be shutting the doors at the end of the month.READ MORE: Hoops-daft Sons of Anarchy actor poses with Lisbon Lion at Celtic Park She wrote: "Well, after over 11 years, formerly as The Cup & Saucer Vintage Tearoom, the now Flying Ducks Vintage will be closing the doors for the last time at the end of October .
"I want to thank you all, my wonderful customers, from the bottom of my heart for all your support, friendship and laughter over the years. "I couldn't have done it without you and especially without the love and support from my amazing family for helping me fulfil my dream ."Regulars have been left saddened by the news with one saying: "Have enjoyed many visits over the years. Wishing you much happiness in the future. Hopefully can pop in before you close."A third added: "Cup and saucer was my favourite wee place back in the day. Best wishes for the future.
