Customers are gutted by the closure.
Popular Roundhay bar and eatery Banyan has announced it is to permanently close, leaving customers gutted at its decision.
Banyan Horsforth opened in 2016 when it took over former chic bar and eatery Kobe. Kobe closed on October 31, 2016, before the premises underwent a huge makeover and reopened as Banyan on November 18.The stylish Horsforth venue was widely popular, and inundated with good reviews, but will sadly not reopen its doors again. Announcing the news of the closure, a spokesperson for Banyan Horsforth said: "Banyan Horsforth is now permanently closed.
Customers rushed to share their sadness at the news. John Pilkington said: "That’s really sad. It’s a pity you couldn’t make it work. Loved the outdoor seating area, especially during the lockdown era when you could drink outside with mates."
