A food company has pulled their nuts from shelvesThe recall comes after it was discovered that the nuts contain apricot kernels, which can release hydrogen cyanide when eaten, making them dangerous to
consume.
The product is feared to contain foreign bodies and apricot kernels, which pose a risk due to the potential release of hydrogen cyanide upon consumption, the Food Standards Agency said.A spokesman for the FSA said: “Leo’s Import Export & Trading Ltd is recalling the above product."These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.If you have purchased the product do not consume it.
