For the past three weeks, users going to CPD's website searching for the report portal that posts unofficial crime reports have been taken to a page with an error message
The day after the theft, Maswela filed a report with Columbus Police, but he was unable to submit it. On May 30, the Columbus police website notified everyone trying to retrieve an online unofficial crime report the portal has been temporarily disabled, as CPD works to correct internal issues.
