Porsche hopes its one-race hot pink livery will help it on its hot laps of the first-ever Tokyo E-Prix
For the first time ever, Formula E cars will race along the streets of Tokyo this weekend. To celebrate the historic event, Porsche's all-electric racecar will sport a neon pink racing livery that is inspired by the city's famous neon signs. The one-race color scheme made its debut at the Terrada Warehouse in Tokyo Harbor, a chic, industrial location that specializes in the storage of wine, art, and media.
With the exclusive design of our Porsche 99X Electric, we’re celebrating the premiere of Formula E in this unique metropolis and the successful partnership between Porsche and TAG Heuer, said Carlo Wiggers, the director of team management. At the same time, it is our visual reference to one of the most fascinating cities in the world and the avid motor racing fans in Japan.
