The Grapevine-raised star is among a number of new performers the Academy of Country Music announced Tuesday for the awards,at the Ford Center at the Star. Also on the list is fellow Texan Parker McCollum, who won male artist of the year in 2022, as well as a string of duet partners including Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne, and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
