The postmaster has resigned

Milngavie Post Office, located at 39 Douglas Street, is no longer operating.

This comes after the resignation of the current postmaster, who had been working in the branch temporarily. A retailer has expressed an interest in taking on the Post Office, but in the meantime, customers are reminded that they can use nearby branches on Craigash Road and in Bearsden. A Post Office spokesperson said: “Milngavie Post Office has closed at its current location this week due to the resignation of the Postmaster, who had been operating the branch on a temporary basis."Alternative branches in the area include Craigash Road and Bearsden.
