The Cao Lab at UT Dallas is seeking for two highly motivated postdocs to join us in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. The Cao Laboratory utilizes and develops cutting-edge single cell omics, imaging and microfluidics tools to investigate on lineages commitment, cell type evolution and cell-cell interactions . Our research aims to elucidate the gene regulatory grammar in embryogenesis and cancer development .
For candidates in the developmental biology field, a solid background in embryogenesis, molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, imaging, or related disciplines is essential. Preference will be given to those with experience in genetic manipulation of embryos and confocal fluorescence microscopy. A PhD in a relevant area, along with a deep understanding of developmental biology and a strong publication record in evolutionary developmental biology or similar fields, is required.
Candidates should be capable of working independently, collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and clearly communicating ideas and results.
