Ryan Nulty is determined to get back on his feet!
A postman who lost both his feet just three months ago after ‘flu’ developed into deadly sepsis has vowed he will mow his lawn and take his pet dog Geoffrey for a walk this summer.
But following the traumatic ordeal Ryan has now vowed to get back to some sense of normality by the summer, in part by taking his Staffie Bull Terrier for a walk. Ryan’s feet before amputation – he said while it became no surprise, he was still shocked at the thought of losing his feet Ryan, of Horsham, West Sussex, who was slipping in and out of consciousness as he was rushed to Redhill’s East Surrey Hospital, where he was immediately put into an induced coma in the intensive care unit to help protect his organs from the sepsis, which was by then attacking his system.
But his ordeal had taken a terrible toll during his two-month hospital stay, which ended on December 4.
