Poundland has brought out two Christmas-inspired sandwiches in time for the festive season. The discount retailer is joining other stores in adding a seasonal twist to its lunch options.
Crafted by 'On A Roll Sandwich Company's Pantry', these sandwiches are competitively priced at just £2 each, on their own. But for £1 more, customers can also take advantage of the store's meal deal - which includes any sandwich, a drink, and a snack for a total of £3. Despite not being the typical go-to for many office workers' lunches, Poundland's £3 meal deal has been making waves, reports the Mirror. The budget shop offers a cheaper solution to midday hunger than some other competitors, like Tesco, Asda and Aldi.
TV chef Nigella Lawson hinted at the comeback of the beloved Festive Bake, alongside sandwiches, sweet treats and hot drinks. Meanwhile, for those craving quick bites, McDonald's revealed a host of popular items making a return to its dynamic Christmas menu.
