Britons are said to view the controversial move of inviting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the historic crowning of King Charles III as an 'odd decision' by the Royal Family following months of intense media coverage.
The move to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the upcoming Coronation could be a"power play" by King Charles III, Sky News Contributor Dominique Samuels has claimed.
Speaking to Sky News Australia on Monday night, Ms Samuels said if Harry and Meghan reject the invitation it would be obvious they are not willing to reconcile with the Royal Family. “A source close to the Royal Family says that Harry and Meghan should be prepared to talk to senior royals about nothing but the weather, which we can all understand," she said. "This was going to be a PR nightmare if King Charles did not invite Harry and Meghan to the coronation."
