Mining permit the final approval needed for highly touted project

Predictive Discovery appears to be a big step closer to disappearing after receiving news from Guinean authorities regarding its Bankan gold project in the West African country.The company has received approval for the environmental and social impact assessment for Bankan, addressing the biggest issue hanging over the project given its location next to a national park.

And assuming the latter doesn't throw up any big surprises — with it flagged to be completed in the second half of the year — it is really only the mining permit that is the outstanding question.
