A premature infant girl was found abandoned near a bayou in Harris County.
Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Casa Martin around 9 a.m., where they discovered the infant. The baby, still with the umbilical cord attached, was found wrapped in a blanket.Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the abandonment. A security camera at a nearby home recorded footage of a person walking away from the bayou around the time of the abandonment.units responded to the 5500 blk of Casa Martin.
