NSW Opposition leader Chris Minns claims Premier Dominic Perrottet has constantly been “buck-passing” issues related to the state’s healthcare.

Mr Minns said the Premier’s main response to healthcare issues is calling them a “federal government responsibility”.

“This election can’t be about buck-passing, and what you have seen from New South Wales Labor is policy initiatives and ideas and money on the table to make a difference for what we can control,” he said during a media conference on Monday. “They have had 12 years to fix chronic problems in the emergency departments and ICU units in New South Wales hospitals, they have had many months, many years, to deal with the 100,000 people that are on the elective surgery waiting list.
