The Premier League are set to shake up their Sunday fixtures schedule
Currently, the’s broadcasting rights are shared between the likes of Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime.
A normal Premier League weekend would usually consist of an early afternoon kick-off on Saturday, followed by 3pm matches and then a late evening clash.However, those times could set to be changed in what has been billed as a major shake-up., Premier League executives are set to propose that four matches are to be televised on Sunday afternoon.This latest development comes after the Premier League faced calls to scrap the 3pm blackout on Saturdays.
Currently, Premier League matches kicking off at 3pm on Saturdays are not available to watch on TV in the UK.It is believed that the new proposal will satisfy both the clubs and the broadcasters.
