The Premier League have responded to Nottingham Forest's statements on social media.

In a statement released on X, they wrote: "The Premier League was extremely disappointed to read the comments made by Nottingham Forest on social media yesterday, following its match against Everton.

Ashley Young was involved in each incident as match referee Anthony Taylor waved away each penalty appeal. "It's very difficult to control the players and ask them to be focused and me myself to be composed, because it's been very hard."The defeat to Everton leaves Forest one spot above the relegation zone in 17th place, one point ahead of Luton Town.
