A Premier League table without VAR has been published and Liverpool are among several teams that have received a boost.
VAR criticism reached fever pitch this season after human error led to Luis Diaz’s goal being wrongly ruled out in
Referee’s chief Howard Webb subsequently admitted on Match Officials: Mic'd Up that VAR had"fallen short" on this occasion and the PGMOL needed to act. Webb added:"We've put quite a lot of steps in place to ensure the error that we saw doesn't happen again.
