Veteran playmaker Willian is in talks to re-join Fulham, just six months after leaving the Cottagers.
Willian left Olympiakos in December after a short stint in Greece The 36-year-old had spells in the Premier League with Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham, most significantly with the Blues where he won two Premier League titles. The Brazilian made 339 appearances for Chelsea, also lifting the FA Cup and Europa League trophy during his time at Stamford Bridge. His stint at Arsenal was forgettable but was good for Fulham, before leaving for Olympiakos last summer.
As the Brazil international is a free agent the deal does not need to be completed before Monday night’s transfer deadline, but the move is close to being completed. Willian made 67 appearances in his first spell at Fulham The veteran turns 37 in August and has a wealth of experience across Europe, in his home country and at international level.
