The Premium Bonds draw for December 2024 announced its winners, with two lucky individuals receiving £1 million each just before the festive period. NS&I, supported by the Treasury, confirmed that the fortunate jackpot recipients hailed from Kent and Cumbria.
Following suit, the second millionaire for the month, holding Bond number 538KR930303 was purchased in April 2023 and is included in the winner's £33,275 worth of Bonds. This individual has become Cumbria's sixth Premium Bonds millionaire. This November marks a significant anniversary, celebrating 68 years since Premium Bonds were introduced to the public. Launching on 1 November 1956 with a vision to democratise saving amongst Britons, they've captured the nation's heart as one of the most beloved savings products, reports Birmingham Live.
