There will be a change to the presenting line-up
Susanna Reid announced on Wednesday, May 24, that Good Morning Britain viewers will not see her on the show next week. During a discussion with entertainment editor Richard Arnold and co-host Richard Madeley, she revealed she would be taking a break from the show over half-term.
Susanna quipped: "Or go to bed very late," before the entertainment reporter hit back: "Oh look at you, someone is going on half-term. Yes. I can confirm I am off today, leaving it in your capable hands. No more interruptions," she confirmed.Susanna later interrupted Richard again before adding: "It's ok, you won't have this for the next 10 days.
An ITV spokesperson told the Mirror: "Phillip Schofield’s decision to step down from This Morning was a decision agreed between Phillip and ITV. " His final appearance on the show was last Thursday and his immediate exit was confirmed two days later.
