Friday saw flood alerts and warnings issued for the River Ribble across Preston but the river levels have dropped considerably as the Environment Agency withdraw the warnings.
A warm and dry weekend is expected for the city with temperatures reaching the low 20 degrees – unseasonably warm for this time of year.
