Ben Hardman is aiming to complete the challenge in under 60 hours, starting on 11 April from his home inBen is doing the mega marathon to thank the hospice for the help they have given to his relatives, and to push his own physical and mental limits to the maximum.He said: “The pain I’m going to go through during this event is nothing compared to those battling life-threatening illnesses on the daily.

St Catherine’s Hospice in Preston provides end-of-life care to patients across Chorley, Preston and South Ribble who are affected by life-shortening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure.
