Preston Man Walks 100 Miles to Support Prostate Cancer Charity

A Preston man, Graham, completed a 100-mile walking challenge to raise funds for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation. Graham, who is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, raised £873 through his walk and shared his experience with listeners of a local radio show. He encourages others to get tested for prostate cancer early for a better outcome.

Taking on the challenge whilst in treatment for prostate cancer, it is said that the listeners of the show were some of those to get behind Graham during his recovery. “My mission now is to encourage other men to take a PSA test if offered or to go to their GP if they feel something isn’t quite right as early diagnosis is so important to a good outcome.”
