Preston MP Sir Mark Hendrick is set to host a community conference for third sector organisations in the city
.The ‘Helping Your Organisation Help Others’ event will bring together a range of local charities, faith groups, health and community voluntary organisations.
A range of speakers will be there, including from the National Lottery, Grantfinder, Preston City Council and the Lancashire Association of CVS .Finding funding and how to write successful bidsLooking after your and volunteers’ mental healthThe event will be held at The Salvation Army in Harrington Street on Friday 23 June from 10am to 1.30pm.
Attendees are encouraged to take non-perishable food and toiletry items to donate to the Salvation Army.
