Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe was proud of his side after their 0-0 draw with Rotherham United, despite their inability to break the deadlock at Deepdale.

"Everything we do in training on a daily basis is being replicated on the pitch on a matchday.

"Would I have loved three points? 100 per cent I would have but it's the old cliche, if you can't win it then don't lose it. "If we score early on, who knows, it could be different. I'm proud of the group and the performance.” Lowe said: “In the end I was sitting down and thinking, because we scored a worldie at the weekend, it could be a ricochet or an own goal - then Pottsy turns up with a bullet.
