Preston North End wing back Robbie Brady is eyeing up a World Cup and another European Championship with the Republic of Ireland.
The 30-year-old is iconic in Irish football for his winning goal against Italy in the 2016 Euros that sent his side through to the knockout stages, and he’s clear on his ambitions for another major tournament."My performances will have to be up to a level that keeps me involved and I’m confident enough I will be able to get to a level to stay in the picture. We’ll see how things go.
“I’m only 30 years of age, but there’s no time to waste. There are not that many tournaments left, so you want to grab it with both hands and try and push for them.” It has been tough for Brady however, who has had to deal with some long term injuries and feels he can sometimes be held back by his body.
