Cottam Parkway back on track after wrangle over landA popular pub in Preston is preparing to host a 90s and 00s nostalgia-themed event this weekend.It will be run by local DJs and promoters who are collaborating for the first time including Tony Abram and Danny Newbold.
“Children are welcome into this energy for the day so that we have a family feel for the house music vibe. Expect to hear funky house, italo house, british house, 90s pop and there will even be some trance from DJs including, myself, Danny Newbold, DJ Smoke and DJ Scott Thomas. It will be a great day, we can’t wait.”
There promises to be something for all the family during the day including crafting, record and merchandise stalls and games. “The manager, Richard Fisher-Godwin, has been welcoming local promoters and DJs to host their events at The Moorbrook, a couple of which I’ve played at myself, which have had a nice vibe. It’s great to have been involved and we are grateful to Rich for giving us the opportunity to host our events there.”, which unlocked support from the Lancashire Culture and Sport Fund provided by Lancashire County Council.
