Revealed: The cost of Preston Guild Hall standing empty and the path to re-openingIt was chosen due to ‘the valuable work it does to provide members with opportunities to grow and thrive in sports’.Peter Mason, Sir Tom Finney Disability Soccer Centre Chairman, said: “We are immensely grateful to Taylor Wimpey and the community for choosing us as the winners of the community chest competition.

“The Sir Tom Finney Disability Soccer Centre and its members are truly happy to be nominated by the people within our community as it really demonstrates that the work we do in the area is effective and recognised.”Using the money, the club purchased training equipment such as bibs and balls to help improve the quality of coaching and contribute to a ‘positive playing experience’.

“Their efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of local abled and disabled children and adults is truly remarkable.
