Pizza Rana has reached the final five in the Best Looking Food Truck category at the British Street Food Awards.The business’s Mercedes 507d is 37 years old and is one of the last remaining ones on the road in the UK.
They had some of the best engineers in Lancashire involved in the conversion and its stand out paint job was spray painted by hand by a local artist.Liam from Pizza Rana said: “We’ve dreamed about having a food truck since we started Pizza Rana. “All those cold, wet and windy markets that we made pizza at through lockdown in our red gazebo have finally paid off. The winner will be announced at the 2022 British Street Food Awards final in September, where traders will be cooking their hearts out to win the British title and a place in the grand finale of the 2022 European Street Food Awards in Munich.
