You can finally book yourself a table at the restaurant one again

A popular Spanish themed restaurant in the heart of Preston city centre is set to reopen after a sudden closure.

Owners of Bar Pintxos in Preston were forced to close the tapas style restaurant in January due to personal reasons. Customers of the intimate eatery experienced the huge loss when Anthony Smith made the difficult decision to close the doors of Bar Pintxos after a short but successful 18 months so he could focus on family commitments.

Hope has been restored as the restaurant has been taken over by some familiar faces. Former head chef of Bar Pintxos, Catherine Finn, and her partner Jim, have announced they will be taking it over.Together they will be reviving the concept that was known and loved. The pair will bring in their usual flair and extras including outside catering, events and even a deli counter where some beautiful Spanish food and wines can be procured.

Catherine said: "The menu will still focus on authentic Spanish ingredients and recipes whilst championing local farmers who do amazing fresh produce where possible. Pintxos are the heart of what we do so we will still feature some old favourites as well as some new and exciting dishes.

Bar Pintxos will re-open to the public on Saturday, April 29. The website is back and running and ready to take on bookings.
