A stone monument in a Swiss town is causing controversy after links with Nazi Germany were uncovered.
The 13-tonne granite block – with its faded engravings long covered in moss – features the names of German soldiers who died while receiving treatment in Switzerland between 1914 and 1918.told BBC NewsThe culture of Nazi party entailed an almost cult-like worship of those who died at war, according to Swiss historian Martin Bucher.
