Pricey Ocado deal is unlikely to deliver for Marks & Spencer, writes Ben Marlow
When it come to M&S and online grocery shopping, that sum is a princely £750m. That’s how much Britain’s retail standard-bearer is forking out for a 50pc stake in a new online food joint venture with Ocado, the largest piece of deal-making in M&S’s illustrious history.
